Pituitary/Adrenal/Gonad

Symposium 3. Navigating hormonal and cellular complexities in pituitary disorders Day 2, Friday, May 2, 08:30-10:00 / Room 4 (1F) Overview
This session will address the challenges in understanding and managing pituitary disorders. Featuring three insightful lectures, this session highlights the latest advances in research, offering new perspectives on pituitary disease. Professor Yuen will offer profound insights into the evolving role of growth hormone. Professor Fukuoka will discuss the epigenetic regulation of ACTH and its cellular connections. Professor Ku will explore the cellular heterogeneity of pituitary adenomas and its therapeutic implications. Through these discussions, the session aims to shed light on innovative strategies to address the complexities of pituitary disorders.

Chairpersons : Soon Jib Yoo (The Catholic University of Korea, Korea), Sang Ouk Chin (Kyung Hee University, Korea)

Clinical update 3. Rethinking challenges in adrenal, pituitary, and reproductive endocrinology Day 2, Friday, May 2, 16:50-18:20 / Room 4 (1F) Overview
This session explores key topics in adrenal, pituitary, and reproductive endocrinology. Prof. Hyo-Kyoung Nam will discuss transitional care for adolescents with Turner syndrome. Prof. Sangmo Hong will highlight findings from Korean population-based studies that reevaluate comorbidities in acromegaly. Prof. Kyoung Yeun Jung will present tailored management strategies for mild autonomous cortisol secretion (MACS), focusing on comorbidities.
