This symposium, "Mastering Research Writing", offers an in-depth exploration of effective strategies for utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the English language in academic research and manuscript preparation. Prof. Seungchan Yoo from Yonsei University College of Medicine will present techniques for leveraging generative AI to enhance research and scholarly writing. Dongsoo Jang, CEO of StudioMID, will share key principles and strategies for effective data visualization and the strategic use of graphics to enhance the clarity and impact of research findings. Prof. Wonyong Choi from the Korea Institute of Energy Technology will provide essential guidelines for writing and publishing academic papers in English, offering practical insights to navigate the challenges of scholarly communication. This symposium serves as a valuable opportunity for researchers to refine their academic writing skills through expert-led sessions on AI-powered research tools, the critical role of graphical abstracts, and best practices for publishing in English-language journals.
